Dog friendly travel

Tue Sep 15, 2009 8:40 am by Desjardo

OK, so I took a job with CN Rail. Much better money and way more of a career than a job. The downfall is that for a while I will be travelling from here to the west coast. Where? Anywhere the tracks go. I work 8 hour days so that leaves a lot of time when there is no o/t available so I want to bring my dog on some trips.
I have a Van with sleeper seats in the back and plenty of room for ...

Pet Expo - Pet free

Sun Sep 13, 2009 7:56 am by Desjardo

Took a ride to North Battleford yesterday to check out the pet expo. To my surprise you couldn't bring your pet. So our ride to north Battlefird became a sight seeing tour. Took the dogs to rhe river in Borden and got attacked by mosquitos!

Hummingbird hollow

Mon Aug 10, 2009 9:03 am by Hummingbird Hollow

This spring I tried to start up a group that would meet here once a week and have a bit of doggie fun, followed with coffee and a bonfire or whatever. I bought/built a few agility things and had a few 'dates" but it never amounted to much. If anyone is interested we could try again. I am about twenty minutes south west of the city near Pike Lake.
